In the Backlands of
Brazil
A water well is a structure that is created by digging, drilling, or boring into the ground to access underground water sources.
People typically build wells to extract water for drinking, irrigation, and other uses, especially when the local water supply is insufficient or unavailable. Wells can range from simple hand-dug wells to more advanced drilled wells that use pumps to bring water to the surface.
The water in a well usually comes from an underground aquifer—an underground layer of water-bearing rock or sediment.

Making a Difference
One Drop at a Time
Evangelizing in a poor community can be a sensitive and impactful process, requiring a balance of compassion, respect, and understanding.
It’s not just about spreading religious messages; it’s also about building relationships, addressing physical and emotional needs, and being a genuine presence in their lives.
At H7O, we believe that providing clean water is just the beginning. Our mission extends far beyond addressing physical needs—we are committed to bringing spiritual renewal and transformation to the communities we serve.
Alongside our water initiatives, we focus on four key objectives:
Evangelizing Local Communities
We share God’s love, bringing the message of salvation to every community, offering both clean water and the living water of Christ.
PlantingLocal Churches
We establish churches where believers can grow in faith, worship together, and build a Christ-centered community for long-term spiritual support.
Teaching the Word of God
We teach biblical principles, ensuring people not only hear the Gospel but also understand and apply God’s truth in their daily lives.
MakingDisciples
We guide new believers in spiritual growth, mentoring them so they can deepen their faith and disciple others in their community.

Scripture Calls Us to Give
- Give joyfully, demonstrating an overflowing love for our God. 2 Corinthians 9:7
- Give our firstfruits—meaning, we give our best and rely on God to provide for the remainder of our needs. Deuteronomy 26:2, Proverbs 3:9
- Give humbly, not looking for praise, but seeking eternal rewards. Matthew 6:2
- Give sacrificially, so we reflect the way Christ gave to us. 2 Corinthians 8:9-10
- Regularly give to remind ourselves of His continual provision. 1 Corinthians 16:2
- Money, or riches, can easily become an idol. We are quick to rely on what we have to provide us with a sense of security and identity. The lure of money attracts us in a variety of ways, whether by the promise of security, power, or the false freedom of not needing self-control. Matthew 6:19-24, Luke 16:10-13, 1 Timothy 6:10, Ecclesiastes 5:10-12
- How we practically manage, spend, give, or save our money can potentially expose these idols and help break their hold over us. Luke 16:10-13
Participating in
God’s Work
The project is presented and built together with the donor, we have a great team to take care of it. We are very detailed in auditing every step of the process.
The entire H7O team is made up of volunteers, 100% of the team does not have a salary.
In scripture, we see that we are all called to support our local church and elders financially.
In addition, God calls us to demonstrate justice and mercy through generosity focused towards widows and orphans, those who are poor and needy, and foreigners in our community.
